The phrase "Sprovveduta Età," meaning "naive age" in Italian, is a reference to the Roman philosopher Lucretius' poem De Rerum Natura (On the Nature of Things), which explores themes of human existence and the natural world. Designed by Alessandro Michele, the scarf features a painterly depiction of a mythical garden filled with tigers, snakes, and hibiscus blooms, set against a multicolored silk-twill backdrop.
