Baden Bar & Counter Stool, Alcala Wheat by Four Hands

Attended their Memorial Day tent sale and saw this bar stool in person. It looked just like the photos on the website and the discount had us sold. We purchased 3 stools at final sale. When we got the stools, we noted that the color of the wood and leather were much darker and a different tone than what we saw on the website and in person. I emailed support and was told that they reached out to the manufacturer who told them that there could be variability in the color and that the lighting of the photos can make the product look different. Basically that nothing could be done. We were highly disappointed as 1) There is no indication on the product page that there can be variability in color, 2) While slight variation can be accepted, this is quite a difference - what we received was much darker than the lighter, warmer color on the website. 3) While it is understandable that products photographed can look different in person, we had actually seen the product in person. 4) We wish we would have known this before purchasing 3 stools at final sale, otherwise we would not have paid so much. I will provide a photo from the tent sale and one of the product we received.

The color issue aside, this is a very attractive, high quality and comfortable stool. I advise anyone interested to not purchase at final sale unless you are okay with the darker color.
