Toulouse Dining Table, Seared Oak/Brushed Gold Base

My experience working with the staff at High Fashion Home from pre-purchase to delivery was fantastic. They were always available to help answer my questions and ensured my order processed quickly.

The table is nice however a heads up on some of the details....

- The gold base is rather yellow so is really standing out in my dining room and clashing with more subtle gold tones in the room. Be aware that it is a very bright gold.

-It is NOT a single slab of wood like most natural live edge tables. It is made up of several planks of wood, bolted together, and then the outside edge left unfinished. The outside edge also doesnt have much natural curve to it, not sure if it is really a live edge or was made to look like it. So, in the end not really the natural edge/solid slab I was going for.

The color/ finish of the table itself is beautiful. It's a nice cool-toned dark wood, with a natural, yellowy side edge.

Overall, the table is nice. But at the price point I'm disappointed that it's not a real live edge/slab table. If I didn't live out of state/wasn't looking at return delivery charges, I'd definitely return it and get a real one. Happy searching!

Not using it yet. It’s going into a home we’re building. Did open it and inspect it. It’s beautiful. So excited to get to use soon. Also it arrived way before scheduled.

Table is beautiful. I received the table early that i was expected. The hardware did not come with the table called HFH and they resolved the issued. Love the unique pieces from HFH. Excellent Customer Services. (Julie J.) Thank you!!

High Fashion mentions that this item will take 8-10 weeks to deliver. Please be more upfront with your customers. I would not be as upset if you would just say it will take over 4 months to get your table. The table took over 4 months to arrive. Overestimate the time so when we get it early we are happy. Next, the "white glove delivery" did not exactly happen that way. The first delivery consisted of the delivery company dropping off the top of the table ( 150 pounds) on my front porch without ringing the bell or calling. If I had been a single elderly person, that table would have sat on my front porch and would have been ruined by the weather or stolen. My husband and I dragged in into our house to discover the legs were missing. The delivery company was closed for the weekend. The following week when I called them they claimed they did not have the legs. High Fashion gave me a credit for the "white glove delivery" at least. High Fashion did not follow up at all on this matter. I called them and they said they would file a claim and then I never heard back from them with any updates. Then a week later, the delivery company just drops the legs off on my front porch...same thing no call and did not even ring the door bell. We were able to assemble the table...it had a scratch on the top but I colored it in with a wood paint pen...I was not about to wait four more months for a table. The table is pretty but I will definitely not be purchasing from High Fashion Home again.

We liked this model because it was one single piece, at 96"-not leaves or extensions. We use it in our large dining room and it fits the space well and is in proportion. The bronze legs look striking in the photos and may worry you that they are too bright. They are very understated in person as they sit well under the table and look classy, but not glaring. Good quality wood which is sealed, and has natural grain and knots. We paired the table with the Beatrix chairs-great look and 96" fits 8 chairs. Would be tight to fit 10 chairs but the Beatrix are stuffed, so that may be why. If you had slimmer chairs, could fit 10. Overall, great piece and shipping and delivery service was outstanding!
