Praia 39" Square Coffee Table

I love this coffee table, it is gorgeous and a focal point of my family room. Have had mine for years and everyone compliments it. BUT I wish I had been warned... because the block has an oil finish, the carpet under the block (which is essentially a hollow wood box turned upside down) got irreparably stained within just weeks of owning it. The orangish color seeps down through the wood to the bottom edges and stains whatever surface is beneath it. I recommend that as soon as you get it, put in down on plastic. Then, have masonite strips cut to size to place beneath the edges of the table so it does not touch the floor or carpet. Or, find some other non-pourous way to keep it from touching anything below it.
